Diese Version von InfoHandler 2008 benötigt .NET Framework 3.5.Falls dies noch nicht installiert sollte das bei ClickOnce-Installation von selbst erfolgen. Um das vorab zu erledigen besuchen Sie diese Webseite: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Nach einer solchen Neuinstallation müssen Sie den Compter neu starten bevor Sie mit der Installation von InfoHandler fortfahren.
Für die Installation empfehlen wir das aktuelle ClickOnce--Verfahren. Dies sorgt normalerweise dafür, dass notwendige Voraussetzungen wie zum Beispiel .NET Framework 3.5 falls nötig vorher automatisch installiert ("bootstrapped") werden. Wenn ihr Betriebssystem Windows 2000/XP/Vista ist gehen Sie bitte zur Installations-Seite (deutsch) und klicken dort auf Install. Um die Installation im Gang zu halten müssen Sie nur noch einmal auf einen anderen Install-Button klicken, womit Sie dann bestätigen dass Sie dem Herausgeber der Website www.mdesoft.com wirklich trauen.
This kind of installation does not require administrator privileges, you can do it on your restricted user account (but not on a 'guest' account).
After installation the program is launched automatically and you should find an entry InfoHandler 2008 on the Start menu. After every start InfoHandler 2008 checks the Internet for the availability of a new version. If a new version is found next time the program is started it is announced and after confirmation installed and launche instead of the prior version. You can uninstall the software as usual to from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs tool but unusually you can also from there revert to the prior version in case you are not happy with the installed last update.

Note for Firefox users:
If your browser is Firefox you might encounter a little problem while trying to install. You know this by a message to the effect that .NET 2.0 is not available though it is. Before you try a ClickOnce install with Firefox you must install a special add-on called 'FFClickOnce'. This is actually quite easy: just goto https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1608/ and click there on 'Install now', this would install the add-on and afterwards you can go ahead with the installation of IH2008.
One more point: With Firefox you will see a dialog asking how the download is to be processed. Here you must select the entry 'Run ClickOnce Application', do not just accept the default since this would fail!
In einigen Fällen gab es beim Versuch der Installation aus dem Internet Probleme, die mittels einer lokalen Installation überwunden werden konnten. Diese traditionelle Methode ist eine Alternative zum oben behandelten ClickOnce-Verfahren (etwa wenn es mit diesem Probleme gibt), sie erfordert beim Set-Up Administrator-Rechte und bietet keine automatische Erkennung der Verfügbarkeit neuer Versionen.
